We believe a removal is not just about the art of removing and transporting your belongings without damage to them. We put just as much importance on the care of walls, woodwork and carpets of the homes you are leaving
and moving to. Although we will be speedy and efficient, we will not rush when loading to avoid accidents.

Practicalities

As can be seen in the photographs, all furniture, appliances and bedding are blanket wrapped for protection from the vehicle and other items. This includes bed bases, mattresses, and upholstery in order to keep them clean and dust free. Additionally, we utilize duvets to wrap large pictures, mirrors and glass display cabinets for extra protection. We have a number of quilted sofa covers ideal for the protection of leather sofas. All are secured with webbing ties so there is no movement in transit. Certain fragile items, such as large pictures and mirrors, standard and table lamps, large ornaments and vases, computers and other electrical equipment are always given special attention. In addition we always remove any other loose glass such as shelves, table tops etc. We will individually wrap these items and give them a safe, secured position on the vehicle.

Acceptance of the quotation verbal in person, by telephone, by e-mail or in writing is also acceptance of our Standard Terms and Conditions of Business whether read or not. A copy is available on request.

After many years of operating on “trust and a handshake”, fraudulent claims have forced us to reluctantly introduce Standard Terms and Conditions. They are Industry accepted and the majority of reputable removal companies have similar, if not identical terms and conditions. They are for your protection as well as ours, but please note that we use a great deal of discretion in line with our policy of being a friendly, family removal firm.
